WELL-SUPPORTED APPEAL
Y.W.C.A. COMMITTEE'S THANKS The local appeal comhiittee of the Y.W.C.A. wishes to thahk all those who so genbrously worked and supported the flrst effort yesterday for cohtributions to the Y.W.C.A. Opportunity Shop in Wellington. as a result the followihg goods have beeh forwarded to Wellington today: Ten cartons of vegetables and flowers, 10 (20lb) casfes bf fruit, 15£ dozen eggs and 25lbs of honey. The Opportunity Shop is conducted in Wellington every Friaay to assist in the fund to provide a neW Y.W.C.A. building. When Mrs. Martin made an appeal locally through the Levin Rotary Club, the committee then formed decided to help by making four coliections of produce during the year and sending them for sale at the Opportunity Shop. Yesterday's was the flrst of these and there will be three more, which it is hoped will be as splendidly supportgd as the flrst.
