FOXTON, Feb. 18, A conference of local body representatives with catchment board members and Public Works Denaj-t-ment engineers was held last night to discuss the serious position which has arisen in the river lpop as a result of the Whirokino cut. Foxton sewerage and industrial installations are threatened by the silting and pollution of ' the lpop. The meeting decided to request the Government to immediately formulate some plan to reinstate sufficient water in the loop to keep it flusheH
