STOCK LOSSES IN STORM
Some serious losses in stock are now reported as a result of the W-eekend storm. Mr. J>. Wilton, of Longridge, Gladstone, lost 600 newly-shorn breeding ewes, which perished in the storm. Other farmers report losses of from ten to 50 sheep ana a small number .of deaths in cattle.
