Ildn, who was hitting hard, was missed several times. Evans was also in best fornr ahd secured his highest score in lirst elass cricket. Miller showed lihe paee and direction. Tribe was unluckv but did better than his hgures indieate-. Vietoria lost three good wickets cheaply, Evans starring as wicketkeeper. Then Neil Harvey, 18 years of age, in liis second first elass / gahie. joined llassett and pulled the' score round. Harvey, who is a Jefthander and who with every shot gives proraise of greatness, made nil and 49 against New South Waies a week ago.
