ROLLINSON WINS ON POINTS STEVENS LOSES LIGHT-HEAVY TITLE
WELLINGTON, Feb. 16. Fighting .for the light-heavywoighl profossional title, Doug. Rollinson (12. U) dcfeatcd the title-holder, Koy Stevens (11.8) 011 points in a 15-rouml match after an even tussle up to the last round but one. Stevens appeared to take the chal'Ienger's body attack lightJy in the early rouinis, but this was probably the decisive factor of-the light for the champion tired over the final l two sessions and in the last round was merely fighting to keep Rollinson away. The winner 's perfonnance was char ; acterised by his dogged and aggressive sjdrit, and he came back quickly after a flurry in the thirteenth when Stevens n'as vithin a touch of linishing him olf. Extra weight was a big factor in Ro! linson 's win and his good condition en abled him to survive solid punishment from Steven 's lef ts to the head. 1 .. m uu. m. 11
