A railway employee, Mr. Esmon.i William. Thompson, of Station Street, Woodville', met instantaneous death yesterday when the motor jigger he was trnvelling on came into liead on eol.lision with a goods train in a short tunnel at the Woodville end of the Manawatu Gorge. He was retnrning from the Te Apiti siding in the Gorge at the time. j
