1 The following have signified their ,intcn tion of making the trip to ; Petone on Sunday: Walsh, Bartosh, :Evans, Keay, J. Noble, S. and R. Merwood, Wilson, Pike, Te Puni, Grey, Southgate, Winterburn. Hurrell, Woolf, Baker, Rolfe, Whiteihorn, Capewell, Hook, Boggs and Whitelaw. Others wishing to go should advise Mr. Les Walsh immediately. " | The N.Z. Bowling tournament, now in its final stages, has been the most successful yet held in New Zealand, largeiy due to the splendid organisation of Mr. C. RIngram, secretary of the ce'ntre, and his co-of!icials. All worked splendjidly and credit must be given to jthem for their very ■ able management. Those who took part in the i cournament are loud in their praise' ;pf the management. The bowling ■was of a high -s-tandard and lalthough the local bowlers did not jbring back champion,ship honours ithey defeated some of the leading jteams. Their all-round, play .was ,most favourably commented on. On Mondav championship singles will be played on the Hutt green, the first round commencing at 9 A.m., th^second at 10.45, the third at 11.15, the semi-final at 3 p.m. and the final at 4.30 p.m. In the first round Parappraumu Beach olays Isiand Boy, Rpumati playr Paekakariki and Otaki will play Wellington. Otaki Railway has a bye. The time limit is one and ahalf hours, except for the final.
