LEVIN RED CROSS MEETS

The usual monthly meeting " of the Levin Red Cross Society was held recently, Miss H. E. Bowen presiding. There was a fair attendance. Afternoon tea arrangements were finalised for th'e show on Tuesda^ and all members agreed to assist with contributions. In* .addition seven ladies volunteered to serve the tea on that occasion, the receipts to go to the Red Cross f-unds. It was decided to reopen the sewifig rooms on the first Thursday in March. Mrs. Webb gave an interestmg account of the members' trip ' to hospital before Christmas, and it , was suggested that Mrs. Webb send ! a r-eport to the Red Cross magazine.
