Received Tuesday, 8.15 p.ui. SWDNEY, Feb. 11. Rain has fallen in the parclied northwest of New South Wales and at other scattered places in the State. More rairly general rain is forecast and the meteorologist predicts that the drought situation will be eased within the next few days. The decrease in rainfall in New South Wales is causing .some concern. The "average aunual rainfall in Sydney during the past forty years was almost six inehes lower than the average for the preceding forty, according to the Weather Bureau. Similar deere&ses were evident in other parts of the State.. ;
