Personal Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Berry, of Waipukurau, who have been visitors to Otaki, left for their home today. Mr. Leathem, who has been on a visit to Nelson, has returned to Te Horo. He reports that the country in the Nelson district is very dry, and it was difficult to know what cattle existed on. Chinese Wedding * A large number of residents of Otaki journeyed to Wellington last evening to attend the wedding of Mr. Willie Ping and Miss Clare Wong. In all there were over 300 guests. Dance Buses Cancelled Owing to the fact that a similar function is being held in the Otaki district. which relies on the support of the dancing fraternity of that town, the buses which were to run from Otaki to the Horowheriua Marching Association's grand dance in the Regent . Hall, Levin, tonight have been cancelled. Otaki district patrons will have an opportunity of attending one of the association's popular functions when a further dance will be held in the Regent Hall next Wednesday, February Hh
