WHANGAREI, Feb. 10. Unable to swim Donald (aged 101 and Brian (agod 7) sons of i£lr. and Mrs. Anderson, of Kaitaia, were drowned wlien crossing a stream at Herekino. The father, a farm engineer, was installing a pumping plant on the farm where ihe double fatality occurred. The father and the farm owner five minutes after the boys were refused permission to swim found the bodies in a pool about 20 yards awa.y. It is assumed that the boys slipped into 12 feet of water when trying to cross 011 a fallen tree.
