ON THE BOWLING GREEN
SEATOUN LADIES VISIT LEVIN Four rinks from the Seatoun Ladies' Bowling Club visited tne Levin Ladies' Bowling Club on Wednesday last. Under ideal weather conditions the visitors won on the day'^ play by 85 to 80 points. The following scores were recorded. Seatoun Club being mentioned first: — Mesdames Marshall, Dentice/Perkins, Biddle (s) 15, lost to Mesdames H. Walker, Hartstonge, Stevens, Hayes (s) 31; Mesdames F. Williams, O'Leary, Franks, Murphy (s) 27, beat Mesdames Bagric, Lett, Gurdner, Mudgway (s) 19; Mesdames Pennell, Calcinai, Sherwood, Allan (s) 20, beat Mesdames McKinstry, Lacey, Gibson, Henderson (s) 18; Mesdames Freeman, Bald, Williams, Dykes (s) .23, beat Mesdames Johnston, Sheil, Forster, Mitchell (s) 12. At the conclusion of the games Mrs. Allan, on behalf of the visitors, thanked the'Levih Club for its hospitality and extended an invitation to them to pay a return visif to Seatoun on March 12. Last Thursday the popular Lett Brooches pairs competition resulted in a win for Mesdames Forster and' Stevens (s). ' v -Play in the singles championship is nearing finality. Of the two competitors remaining, Mrs. Henderson has two nves and Mrs. Lacey one life. Forthcoming activities include honorary members' day on Wednesday and home and away visits with Central Club on Saturday, March 15.
