MELEE OVER OCCUPATION OF CAMP HUT Received Sunday, 7 p.m. BRISBANE, Feh. 9, Fire hoses, rifle hutts, axes and knives, were used iast night during a battle between squatters and R.A.A.F. guards; at Victoria Park -Air Force Station, Brishane. The guards turned a hose on one party which tried to force an entrance. The squatters surrounded Ihe guard and one man slashed the nose with a knife. The squatters- s.eized oi e guard. Tha police were summoned to the scene and later an R.A.A.F. officer permitted the occupation of the hut. There are now more than 150 squatters comprising more than 100 families in the camp.
