SHEEP VALUES FULLY FIRM Large 'yardings of store and fat sheep were entered at the weekly stock sale yesterday. A good sale was exprienced ahd . prices were fully firm on recent rates. A-small entry of dairy and store cattle was yarded. There was a good yarding of quality female beef and brisk competition resulted. There was a large yarding of fat pigs and prices showed an improvement on bacon weights. Small stores were in short supply. The following is a fange of prices realised: — Sheep: Frime fat wethers, ?3s 10d to 34s 7d; medium, 32s lOd to 33s 7d; light, 32s 7d; b.fs., 31s 7d to 34s 3d; fat ewes, 20s- lQd to 22s 4d; prime fat lambs, 30s 10d to 32s 4d; medium, 27s lOd to 29s 7d; light, down to 24s ld; w.f. dipped lambs, to 20s; prime ewe lambs, 21s 8d to 23s 3d; medium, 18s 9d. Cattle: Prime fat P.S. cows, £13 17s 6d to £14 2s 6d; medium, £12 17s 6d to £13 12s 6d; light, £10 17s 6d to £11 2s 6d; runners, £6 12s 6d, £7 12s 6d, £8 7s 6d to £9 2s 6d; P.A. vealers, £4 17s 6d to £5 5s; 2-year P.A. steers, £7 12s; S^-years steers, ''£10"6s'/'fat"ex-dairy cows, £4 5s to £5; calved heifer, £8.
