Personal Mr. and Mrs. T. Stratford . have returned home from their recent holiday. Misses N. Peach and P. Small have returned home after spending a holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. N'. Birch and Miss J. Birch have left on a holiday to New . Plyrhouth, where they will visit friends and relatives. Mrs. R. Bibby and Miss M. Bibby have returned " from Auckland, where they have been spending an extended holiday. Miss Jean Cameron, of the local railway staff, is spending hei annual leave in Auckland. Miss J. McLeod who has been the guest oi Miss Cameron has. also returned to Auckland. Levin Show Successes The Horowhenua A. and P. Association's show was the centre of attrkction for local residents over the weekend. The buses which ran from Shannon were filled to capacity, and many others visited Levin in private cars. A local exhibitor who achieved outstanding success in the sheep class was Mr. G. W. Munford, with his Southdown flock. Mr. Munford secured four first awards, two 'seconds and two .hirds. Mr. Munford's flock rates liigh among Southdown circles in New Zealand. '
