TRUCK AND TRAIN COLLIDE
WELLINGTON, Jan. 31. Two person s -wero injure.d when a truck and shunting train .cnllided on tke Kipg Street ei'ossing just north of Upper Hutt railway station at 4.17 p.m. today. They were: Kathleen" Berkett, nurse at the Wellington Public Hospital. Donald McHolpj., P.ost an.d Telegraph Departmenf employee, 170 Waiwhetu Road, Lower Hutt.' Miss Berkett was admitted to Lower Hutt Hospital s,uff;,ering from eonpussion. Mr. MeHolm was treated at .the hospital and permitte.d to go home. Two other persons riding on the tray pf the truck were u,ninjured.
