WHEN PIGS ARE CATTLE
Keceived Friday, 7.5 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 31. In a revenue case in the Courts yesterday, the q,uestion arose whether or not th,e word "cattle" included pigs. Mr. Justice Atkinson ruled that it did. He sgid that when the present translatiohqbf the Hihle. was made, cattlp included all Jtinds of animals and that Adam, gay.e names to all the cattle. Th,e present tendency of dictionaries was to restrict the term "cattle" to the bovine genus hut it seemed .clear that pigs could properly he included.
