# WELLINGTON, This Day. v The firm going experienced on three of $he four days at the Wellington meeting has left its effect on some of the horses to such extent that several expected to start at Wanganui, Riccarton and Pahiatua have been withdrawn because of soreness. There will be seven meetings tomorrow besides trots at Auckland. Considering the heavy scratchings fields for the Wanganui and Pahiatua fixtures are exceptionally good. Holiday form should prov.e reliable in a number of races tomorrow. The Wanganui Cup meeting opens while the Pahiatua fixture concludes. A feature of the Wanganui Cup will be the presence of the brilliant young horse Beau le Havre, who is sure to be at a cramped price. He has nothing of exception to beat and in his present form should have a comfortable win. Strongest opposition might come. from Flying Ace, who raced well at Trentham. After his excellent second in the sprint ori the first day at Trentham Tideless should go one better in the Flying Handicap, but in Colopier he is up against a fit opponent. Win and place betting will operate at all meetings. With the exception of Winton and Westport the following are the prospects for the other five meetings :
