DUNEDIN, Jah. 30. When a party of four harvesters went for a swim last ev-ening in the Pomahaka River, nine miles from Cliu ton, two were drowned after one liad got into difficulties in deep water. The vietims were: — Stewart Thomas Slieppart, of Balclutha, married, with five children. Robert Douglas Kell, of Taumata, Clinton, single. The other two members of the party were the Carruthers brotliers, • on whose farm the two deceased had been working.
