Received Friday, 11.30 a.m. MONTREAL, Jan. 23. A colour film on cancer research has been stolen from McGill University, says the Montreal Gazette. The film took over a year to make, and is the only one of its kind. It embodies all the findings of many ■ years of research, and constituted one of the most important milestones in the cancer investigations. An official engaged- in the search told the Gazette that the possibility is being considered that the film may have been stolen by an agent for a foreign government, which had appropriated millions of dollars for similar research. The official added: "This film could be the basis for an entire research plan." The film was stolen after a preview. ■
