WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. Reports that the Prime Minister threatened to resign if the extraordinary conference of the Federation of Labour, whieh concluded yesterday afternoon, did not endorse Cabinet's uolicy in the wharf dispute, were "incorrect and misleading," said the secretary of the federation, Mr. K. Baxter, today, "nor was there any evidence of a split jn the Labour movement and there is not likely to be." Mr. Baxter addted that affiliations will accept the decisions of the conference.
