AUSTRALIAN BEACH APPEARS AND DISAPPEARS
Receivecl Monday, 8.40 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 20, McKenzie's Beach, whicb makes an annual appearance between Bondi and Tamarama (Sydney) and which usually stays for three months, has vanished again a little "before schedule. Between Christmas and New Year thousands surfed on a firm, sandy "beach over 80 feet long. Today, only jagged rocks are visihle. The only explanation for the appearances and disappearances is a seasonal set of currents along the coast. Heavy seas which drive in sand in Deceniber are also responsibie for removing it later.
