WELLINGTON, Jan. 21. The extraordinary conference of the New Zealand Federallon of : Labour, called partly because of the | wraterfront dispute and crMcism : in some quarters of the federation i executive's action in that dispute, i began sitting today. The Press was ! not admitted. j It is possible that the conference j will be addressed hy the Prime j Minister, Mr. Fraser, the Minister •of Labour, Mr. McLagan, and the Minister of Finance, Mr. Nash. It ; is expectcd to have an important ; liear-ing on the action taken in i'uture disputes, especially those involving sorne form of direct action.
