The early batsinen were nervous and 7 were down for 330 before Murfett, the niedium paced righthand howler and lefthatid batsman, attacked pulling and ^ iving aggrossively for 65 niinutes j seven fours. f.vlrich at oue stage had three wickets for no runs and Ikin three for three. Both were punished later. in the followon Tasmania batted stubbornlv and had six down for 120, the match being drawn.
