INTER-ISLAND AIR FREIGHT
l WELLINGTON, Jan. 16. - Coiisideration was being given to the establishment of an air freight serviee between the Xortli Island and the Houth Island, staled the' Minister in charge of civil aviation (Hon. V. .Tonesj in an interview today. He said during Ihe holiday period the R.X.Z.A.F. pro vided quite a number of aireraft to transport goods between Woodbourne and Paraparaumu. _ The Railways Department would now like to have this serviee renewed, and the position was being examine.d to see to wliat extent it was possible to nieet its request. If the serviee were eslab lished it would be operated in the meau time by the R.N.Z.A.F. until the Nat lonal Airways Corporation was able to take it over.
