Received Thursday, 11.50 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 16. There are now 17,000 strikers at the London and Tilbury docks. More than 100 ships and coasters are idle, many with food carg-oes, said an official of the National Dock Labour Corporation. The dockers at Tilbury joined the strikers this morning-. No porters are available at Coveiit G-arden. Many buyers arrived with their own transport and the salesmen helped them to load produce for the shops.
