"DIED THREE TIMES"
LONDON, Jan. 14. M. Albert Reaupre, aged (iii, "died three times'', aecording to tlie evidence at Ihe iwjucst at St. Paneras. V. Beaupre was being operated on in hospilal for a throat ailment wliieh was threatening him with starvation. A surgonn said in evidence that the pafient's lieart during the operation stopped beating for three minutes, bnt direct massage and injection restarted" it. The lieart stopped again and was again restarted while the operatioTi continued. The lieart 1 h is time beat for 39 minutes bef'ore it stopped. All attempts to restart it failed.
