BRITISH FORCES PREPARE TO MOVE OUT OF JAPAN
Received Thursday, 12.33 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 15. British troops in B.O.O.F. Japan are reported to be standing by for transfer to Palestine or Empire posts, says Reuter's Tokio correspondent. 'About 3000 men of the Dorset Regiment, Cameron Highlanders and . Welsh Fusiliers are leaving for India shortly. Australian troops ' from other parts of Japan will take over their bases on Shikoku. The Indian troops, it is reported, would then he withdrawn, leaving the control of the B.C.O.F. area to the Australian and New Zealand forces. I
