R.S.A. WOMEN'S SECTION

JANUARY MEETING HELD The usual monthly meeting of the Women's Section of the Shannon Returned Services' Acsociation was held in Laurvig's* Hall on Saturday evening. Mrs. C. Guerin occupied the chair and those present were Mesdames R. Quinlan, E. H. Allen, Robertson, J. Ritchie, E. Morris, Sell, J. Jenny and J. Richardson and Misses M. Coley and D. Ritchic. Mesdames Kenny and Richardson wcrc wclcomed as new members. Following a discussion, it was decided to hold a streel day about the middlc of March and arrangcments were made for it. I The bloom competition was not | up to the usual high standard . owing to the unsettled weather, I t.here being only three entries. j They resultcd: Mrs. Guerin 1, Mrs. | Sell 2, Mrs. Quinlan 3. !
