HASTINGS, Jan. 9. Disagveement with the statement niade bv Air. K. Tutaki that Nort'i Islaiul Alaoris would be prepared to work on the wharves in the event of a stoppage was expressed at a meeting of Maori workers at the Whakatu Freezing Works. The meeting unaniinouslv adogted the following resolution: "That the .\raori workers deJinitely refute Air. Ii. Tutaki 's statement and absoluteiy refuse to become embroiled in an argument that can only be satisfactorily settled by negotiation. "
