FRENCH PAPERS PARALYSED BY STRIKE
Received Thursdav, 10.20 p.m. PARIS, Jan. 9. No French languago newspapers appeaped in Paris today as the printers walked out last night as a protest against the employers' refusal to grant a 25 por cent wage ineroase. Se.veral provincial towns were also witliout papers. A later message states that all France will be witliout papers to*. morrow as a rosult of the decision ofthe provincial branches, of the French Nation al Press Federation, which is the newspaper managers' organisation, to support the Paris newspa]iers.
