LEVIN TO BE EN FETE Final preparations have been completed for the grand night's entertainment offered to the public of the district by the Horowhenua Marching Association, commencing at 7 p.m. in Bath Street, tomorrow evening. After the display by the girls' marching teams and Horowhenua Highland Pipe Band, and proj. gramme by the Municipal Band, ' the* public is invited to the Regent ballroom, when the Municipal Band will play the opening waltz for the I appreciation dance tendered to the ipipe band by the association. Dancers from all over the district have signified their intention of being nresent to compete in the I Horowhenua , waltzing championJ ship, and Miss Trene Oliver, of the Hrene Oliver School of Dancing,' ! Palmerston North, has responded | to the association's invitation to be present and adjudicate. The two miniature cups to be awarded the winners are now on display in Mr. j R. Murray's shop, in Oxford Street. The lady who is lucky enough | to be the ' winner of the mvstery i prize will be thrilled with her i award, as it comprises something the nature of which has neveh been' given as a prize before. Men are more practical, but the lucky gentleman will be just as pleased with his gift as the lady. With a fine night and a nip in the air, the Regent ballroom is sure to be thronged with a gay and happy crbwd at this bright function, which promises to be an un-
