The Adpiiralty's Department, si K'avai InfoiTnation- has issued an iliastrated bookleWentitied "His MajesTCy^s Vanguard and -the Royal voyitge to Houhi Africa, ' ' . which deseribes the 12,500- ton battieship in which the royal family will travel- and shows how they will live aboard. The .voyage to Houth Africa is the iirst to be niade in peacetime by royaJ.ty in one of liis Majesty 's ships since t lie King and Queen as the Duke aud Duchess of York travelled to New Zealand and Aust.ralia in tlie Itenown in 1027. It will be tlie first time the Princesses -have lef t .. the " United Kingdom. The royal accommodation is situated on tlie shelter deek which is above the upper (leck and abaft the socond tunnel. Nonnally this is the quarters of the Admiral and stalf. It is entirely self-contaiued, will have its own galley aml telephone switchboai'd. Some of the furnishings- will be specialiy made and others couie from the royal yacht Yictoria and Albert and some from the naval stores. The Queen has chosen the general coiour scheme.
