Ritehie) who suggested that negotiations should begin afresh as the August coneiliatiou had aehieved notliing per maueut. The proseedings today— son sisted of an attempt on the part of botli groups to reach an immediate agree meht on as rnauy claims as possible, maving.the more contentious matters to fater discussion.
