REMARKABLE ESCAPE IN LEVEL CROSSING CRASH

DFNEDIN, Jan. 8. . A three-ton lorrv, travelling to^ Dunedin, collided with a mixed goodsoassenger train passing through Warrington, to Dunedin about seven o'clock last night. The truck was extensively damaged. The driver, Mr. E. Little, of Warrington/ and a bov passengef, both had a remarkable escape from injnry. The collision occurred at a Ievel crossing near the Angliean Church, north of Warrington, where the railway . line takes a sharp bend. The truck, with a load of milk cans, was carried about 100 yards and wrecked.
