St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Levin, was the scene of " a very pretty wedding on December .14, When Una' Margaret, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Robinson, Kimberley, -Levin, was united in martiage to David, elder son oi the late Mr. and Mrs. Davies, of Wellington. The officiating minister Was ReV. A. Salmond. The bride, who was escorted -by her father,- looked charming in a gown of magnolia slipper satin, with a gathered " bodice, smocked from the shoulders, v-shaped neek and tight-fitting sleeves. The skirt was cut to form a train and her veil was held in place with a halo of orange blossom and formed a second train. She wore a corsage spray * of real orange blossom and her only ornament was a double string of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. She carried a shower bouquet of apricot tinted roses and lilies, with asparagus fern trailers, surrounded with gold ieaves and ribbon streamers, and finished with maidenhair fern. Attending the bride * were Mrs. Clarence Robinson as matron of honour and Miss Lois Robinson as bridesmaid. Both were froeked alike in deep cyclamen ' taffeta frocks, made. on ViCtorian style, with net yolks. They wore net mittens and small caps of pale blue with streamers. Their bouquets were made .of cyclamen blue and pink sweet peas and roses, with trailers of asparagus fern and tiny pink rosebuds, and were ringed with silver leaves. Owing to the bridegroom's brother being absent on serviee with the forces in Japan, the duties of best man were carried. out by Mr. Robert E. Smither, while Mr. George Murland acted as groomsman. At the church and reception Mr. C. Robinson was usher.. About 90 guests were entertained at a reeeption after the ceremony. They were received by Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, gssisted by the bridegroom's sister, Miss Gladys Davies. Mrs. Robinson wore an ochre shaded ensemble, with brown accessories and a shoulder spray of gold flowers. Miss Davies was attired in a blue costume, trimmed with maroon, and aceessories to tone. The bouquets, which were much admired, were the work of Mrs. R. Evans, the bride's grandmother. After the reeeption the guests visited the home of the bride's parents to view the wedding gifts, which were numerous and useful, and to bid the bridal couple farewell before leaving on their wedding trip amidst showers of confetti. The bride's travelling suit was a heather mixture of blue and dusky pink, and she wore a dusky pink toque, with black aceessories. The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Davies will be in Wellington. — .
