BOY'S 10,000-MILE FLIGHT
Received Mondav, 9.50 p.m. P1ULADKLB1ILA, Jan. 5. Four-year-old Jolin Turuer, of Uhrist cluirch, eompleted his 10,000-mile Higlil to the Temple hospital for an operalioi. to remove a screw from liis lung. The hospital anthorities said the boy will !u kept under observation before tlu operation is porforrned by Dr. Chevaliei Jackson some time this week. The bo\ apparently suffered no ill effects from the trip. Funds for the operation an Ihe Hight to Philadelphia were ad vanced by the Rod f'ross. The plane in which the bov covercu! the last stage of the flight landed in n deot storm. The groundman had ad vised the. pilot in view of the bad wea Iher to flv on to New York but the :>ilot replied: "T will take a cliance rhis ymingstcr needs it."
