RENOWN THEATRE

Ginger -Rogers gives a great performanee in "Lady in the Dark," which screens at the Renown Theatre on Friday and Saturday, as a young lady in business who is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Unable to understand her inability to co-ordinate ~ her thoughts, she visits a psychiatrist, and it is through him that all her ills are cured. She describes her ; dreams, and in this way the picture takes the. form of a flashback, 'showing her childhood days and pinning the blame on certain repressions that become evident in her early life. Ray Milland plays the part of an advertising expert, and it is from him that the delightful light comedy throughout the picture emanates. A thorough'ly interesting and satisfactory stpry and a lavish production make this. i as I said before, an outstanding piece of entertainment.
