Received Fridav, 8.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 3. A partv of United States exservice nten and Austraiian wives and children numbering 182, arrived at Hydney to day from San Francisco by the Marino iPhoenix. The majofity of them wili settle here because of diffienlties in United States. About 20 of the returning wives wero not aeeompanied by their husbands. Some of the women had been in America only seven months. Some had parfed from their husbands and others cottle! not nmke up their minds whetlter they disliked America or were merely homesick.
