At last I am able to throw some light on the many requests received respecting the ages of certain film actresses. Here they "are: Greta Garbo is 41; Norma Shearer, 44; Claudette Colbert, 41'; Joan Crawford, 40; Mary Piekford, 53; Bette Davis, 38; Barbara Stanwyck, 39; Rosalind Russell, 36; Ann Sheridan, 31; -Ingrid Bergman was 24 in 1940, but is only 26 now. Katharine ' pornell is 48, and Miriam Hop.kins.rilMarlene Dietrich and Kay Frapcis, yfio refrained to reveal their. ' correct ages when asked, run her close. The "younger ones" refused to give any information.
