NUR EMBERG, Jan. 2. i The trial of Field-Marshal Milelq former Chief of -.the Luftwaffe and Goerlng's right-liand man, opened beforg the United States Alilitary Tri bunal today. The charges1 against Milch are: — (1) The deportation of slave labour, using war prisoners for military operalions, and murder, eruelties, and other inhumane acts. (2) Personal connoction with the iuiftwaffe medical experiments, especi ally the high altitude and freezing tests on inmates of a coneentration camp. The prosecutor (Mr. Clark Denney), after referring to Mileh's record as "a life of personal and professional betrayal," demanded tlie death penalty.
