Angry and tearful some of tlio party of American wives and their children who flew from New York hoping to join servicemen husbands in Germany for Cliristmas but who are still in London because of weather delays, staged a stay-in strike and refnsed to leave Heathrow airport lounge last niglit. The wives wlio did aceept 'hotel accommodation, did so only after an appeal by airport and airline officials. There were stormy seenes earlier when the wives were not allowed tb telephone husbands • in Germany. Permission was finally granted after representations had been made to the American Embassy. 0
