Book Accepted by King

Advice from the King's private secretary that Their Majesties were graciously pleased to aceept a copy of his book, "A Pioneer Looks Back," has been received by the New Zealand authpr Mr. W. K. Howitt, of Devonport. The book was forwarded to tke King through Sir. Cyril Newall. Included in the ill-ustrations of the book is a view of Tailand, on Royal Deeside, where the author lived for many years and which is not far from the Royal castle at Balmoral.
