The New Zealand Wool Board has jiist received cable adviee that the working party appointed by the International Wool Seeretariat to report oi) prosjiccts of future development iu India was leaving at the weekend by fiying boat for Karachi. This- party' will undertake a three mouths' investigation and make an extensive tour of the country. During the sur'vey, all sections of the industry from mechanised to hand loom will be investigated. Tlie party is headed by Mr. Arthui Staynes, representative of the wool industry on tho Indian Wool Controi Cominittee during the war, and Mr. Whalley who was Deputy-Director oi the Indian Department of Supply foi three years during the war will be second in charge. The econoinist will be appointed on the party 's arri'val iu India, aloug with the necessary administrative staff.
