AUCKLAND, Dec. 27. One of tho three ships which lay at anclior in Auckland harbour todav,. tlie British stcamer Ambassador, has been given temporary berthing priority to enable her to land a shipment of about 10,000 cases of Australian oranges. The Ambassador, which arrived from Rvdney on Christmas Day, will be given a berth in the morning by the movement of a smaller ship to"the end of the wharf. As the waterfront is not being worked tomorrow, tlie orangesand mai! will be landed on Monday and tlie steamer will then return to tlfe strcani to await her normal turn.
