l WELLINGTON, Dec. 25. While on her way from Napier to j Wellington £he ketch La Phare got into difficulties, and was pieked up by the motor vessel Kauri which expected to tow her into Wellington. However, a signal from the captain .of the Kauri ! e'arlv today advised that Ihe ketcli was ' waterlogged and had been cast adrift j by the Kauri whicll was taking the crew oi the ketch on to Lyttelton. The | crew consisted of Captain E. T. Web[ster and his two sons.
