Later, mothers and members of the committee had afternoon tea. In the absence of the president (Mrs. H. B. Burdekin), Mrs. C. S.Keedwell made a presentation to the retiring supervisor, Miss Hitchcock. Appreciation was expressed of her great assistance in firmly establishing the play centre. Thanks were tendered to the treasurer, Mrs. J. Sharpe, the secretary, Mrs. R. H. Long, Mrs. Rogers for the use of her car and Miss J. Davie, who acted as pianist for the kiddies' exercises.1 w: • _■ i
