NAPIER, Dec. 19. The third wool sale of the season at Napier saw the buyiug strength for the most part equal to the disposal of the 29,429 bales eatalogiled but the market iiad its weak moments. After a satisfaetory opening, for some unkuown reason bidding on all classes slackeued and in quite a nuinber of instaxiees, the Joint Organisation tioor priees were either not bettered at all or reached the auctioii price with ditiieulty. The afternoon seliing saw a choiee parcel of halfbred wool make 33|d as the season-'s top price and from then on the inarket hardened and passings became less frequent. The quality of the offering "did not compare with the November catalogue, adult wool monopolising the catalogue. Bidding was more evenly spread than at the lirst fleece wool sale last inonth. The Continent, America and to a lesset extent Canada, were still in the picture but a much more solid front was presented by Bradford with New, Zealand mills not denied the piclting of a limited selection.
