WOMEN'S INSTITUTES
MEETING AT WAITARERE The monthly meeting of tlie Waitarere Womeffis Institute was held lecently. The meeting opened with the institute song and aspirations and a weicome was extended to visitors and new members. It was decided not to hold the December meeting, the next to be held during the second week in January. After the hostesses, Miss Stanley and Mrs. D. Coleman, had served afternoon tea, a sing, say or pay competitiqn was held. The monthly comp'dtitions were won as follows: Thrift article: Mrs. Hood 1 and 2, Mrs. Aldrich 3. Christmas cake: Mrs. Fletcher 1, Mrs. Benning 2, Mrs. Hood 3.
