THE GQVERNMENT'S DIVIDEND As the result of the recent races at Otaki, the "Government gets as its share no le'ss a sum than £6237 4s 3d: The amount is made up as ioilows: — Totaiisator duty, £3269, 6s, dividend duty, £2860 4s, stakes ducy, £34 6s and amusement tax, £73 8s 3d; total. £6237 4s 3d.
